What is Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan?

Developed by Yi Qian, a renowned herbalist during the Ming dynasty, Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan, contains 5 seeds to assist in male reproductive health. Also known as Five Seeds Combination, this formula consists of goji, rubus, dodder, plantain and schisandra seeds.

What are the benefits of Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan tonifies the kidneys, and nourishes and astringes jing (essence).

From a modern perspective, Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan is believed to promote male fertility health by increasing sperm count and improving sperm motility. Accompanying symptoms may include frequent urination, premature ejaculation, low sexual drive, lumbar pain or weakness and depression. 

What is the dosage and method for taking Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan?

The generally recommended dosage of Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan in capsule form is four capsules, two to three times daily; or as loose granules, 4.5 g mixed with hot water, 2-3 times per day. However, always follow your healthcare provider's instructions, as the dosage can vary based on your condition and response to treatment.

When can I expect to see results?

Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan typically starts to take effect within days, however, fertility treatments may last several months’ duration. Like all treatments, its efficacy can vary from person to person.
