The Beautifying Effects of Qian Cao

Qian Cao is a traditional Chinese herb known for its beautifying effects. Blackhead Removal Mask
Ingredients: 1 tsp Qian Cao, ½ tsp flour, ½ tsp brown sugar, water
Method: 
  1. To the Qian Cao granules, add just enough boiling water to dissolve
  2. Combine with the brown sugar and flour, and stir into a paste, adding water if needed. Allow to cool until no longer hot to the touch
  3. Apply the mask to the face and let sit for 15-20 minutes
  4. Rinse with clean water
Functions: Removes blackheads, shrinks pores, and smooths the skin.

 

Beautifying Moisturizer Mask
Ingredients: ½ teaspoon each of Qian Cao, Bai Fu Zi, and Bai Zhi granules, egg whites
Method:
  1. Combine the Qian Cao, Bai Fu Zi, and Bai Zhi granules and grind them into a fine powder; add egg white until a paste forms
  2. Apply the paste mask to the face and let sit for 15-20 minutes
  3. Rinse off with clean water
Functions: Nourishes and moisturizes the skin

Herbal Beauty Tea
Ingredients: 1 level tsp Qian Cao, 1 tsp rose, ½ tsp red dates, honey to taste
Method:
  1. Add Qian Cao, Mei Gui Hua, and Da Zao to boiling water and stir to dissolve the granules
  2. When the tea has cooled to your liking, add honey to taste and drink
  3. Enjoy 3-5 times a week
Functions: Activates blood circulation, removes blood stasis, beautifies and nourishes the skin, and regulates qi and blood.
